What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a warm welcome from one of our sidespersons at the door. Take a seat wherever you like within the main church pews. The service follows a structure of prayers, readings and hymns with a sermon from our Vicar and lasts for just over an hour usually. You won't be picked on or asked to participate but you are very welcome to join in with the prayers and the singing of hymns. There are notices of upcoming events at the end and then you are welcome to stay with us for cup of coffee or tea (it's free) and a biscuit.
What happens to the kids at church?
During school term times, we run a Junior Church for children of all ages in the vestry room at the back of the church during the main church service. New children are welcome to join in or to stay with their parent(s) through the main service. Click for more information about Junior Church.
Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.
Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them.
Please feel free to contact us.
